Popularity Mobile Windows Phone in Europe Rise, Level Sales nearly Approaching iOS

Just as in most other regions in the world , Android dominate mainland Europe . In a study conducted by the Kantara Worldpanel Comtech , in the last three months , 70 percent of smartphones sold in the five largest markets of Europe , United Kingdom , France , Germany , Spain and Italy is Android .

In second place is not too surprising show . Apple's iOS -based products came in second place with a percentage of 16 percent . Apple's level of product sales also increased by 2 percent compared to the same period last year .
But that is quite interesting to observe is the increase in sales of Windows Phone smartphones are quite drastic . Kantar revealed that Windows Phone accounted for 9.2 percent gain in Europe . The amount was increased approximately two -fold , from 5.1 percent , compared to last year .
The enhancement factor due to an increase in the level of sales in the three major markets of Europe , namely France , Germany and the United Kingdom . Kantar even mentioned that in Germany , Windows Phone lags only 1 percent of iOS .
Of the many mobile Windows Phone , the Lumia 520 and 620 became the best-selling smartphone . Two of the smartphones reach the consumer segment aged 16-24 years and 35-49 years . Kantar analyst Dominic Sunnebo said that the two groups that segment becomes a major factor increase in the popularity of Windows Phone , both in terms of price or functionality .
